A number of girl friends based here in CH took it upon themselves to organise me a baby shower last Friday. I had known of their intention but was still surprised and touched by their collective effort and the final outcome. Sniff sniff...although, knowing these girls, I really should have known better. Not only were there all sorts of yummy treats to nibble on, but also colourful decorations and entertaining games which I realised would have taken them some time and energy to prepare. Reminder to self: what a difference it makes to have girl friends who are willing to make a fuss over you (me)!
