On Conflict:
We are midweek into Week 2 of the new semester and already there are a number of issues simmering and approaching conflict territory ... amongst us - the participants and administrators. We are taught again and again that conflict per se is not an issue; it is the way it is resolved is key. Hence, it will be interesting to see how the issues play out in reality, especially amongst all of us, the people who say they are interested in peace and transforming conflict.

More importantly, On the topic of Hair. I.e. My hair:
So, I was argh-ing about the state of my unglamorous looking hair on FB a few weeks ago seeking genuine feedback and possible solutions. I went for a hair cut and took on two suggestions from friends: J's advise to use Moroccan Oil and S's statement of using hair iron. E duly came back with Moroccan Argan Oil, shampoo and conditioner from his US trip and I went out and bought an expensive but surely-worth it professional ceramic hot iron from a Swiss hairdresser near here. I have used all the items and they have provided tremendous results. I am once again contented with the texture of my hair and no longer pining for the HK (or Malaysian) hairdressers to blow dry my hair.
